Method
- Preheat air fryer to 390-400 degrees F for 3-5 minutes. While it heats, cut chicken breasts into nugget-sized pieces — aim for uniform 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces for even cooking.
- Set up a three-station breading line: Pour flour into the first shallow dish, beaten eggs into the second, and Kinder's Crispy Panko Blend Woodfired Garlic Coating into the third.
- Working one nugget at a time, dip each chicken piece in flour and shake off the excess. Next, dip into the beaten egg, letting any excess drip off. Finally, press into the Kinder's Crispy Panko Blend, coating all sides completely. Repeat for remaining nuggets.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange coated nuggets in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space between each piece for air circulation. Do not stack or crowd.
- Lightly spray the tops of the nuggets with cooking spray to help them brown and crisp evenly.
- Air fry at 390-400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, or until nuggets are golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Shake the basket or flip nuggets halfway through for even browning.
- Let nuggets rest for 5-10 minutes before serving — the crust continues to crisp as they cool slightly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes
- Rest before serving — Let the nuggets sit 5 minutes after pulling them from the basket. The crust keeps setting as they cool. Straight out they're good. Five minutes later they're better.
- Cut uniform pieces — Aim for 1 to 1½-inch pieces. Irregular cuts mean smaller pieces overcook while larger ones stay underdone. Consistent sizing is the whole game here.
- Two-hand breading — Keep one hand dry (flour and panko) and one hand wet (egg). Mix the two and the coating clumps, sticks to your fingers, and falls off in the fryer.
- Don't crowd the basket — Single layer with space between each piece. Overcrowding blocks airflow and you get steam, not crunch. Work in batches if you have to.
- Double coat for max crust — After the first flour-egg-panko pass, run through egg and panko a second time. Thicker crust, more crunch, more surface area holding the woodfired garlic flavor.
- Reheat in the air fryer — Leftover nuggets go back in at 375°F for 4–5 minutes. The microwave turns the breading soft. Don't do it.
- Dipping sauces first: honey mustard, ranch, Sriracha aioli, or BBQ. Put out two or three options and let people choose. That's the move for game day spreads.
- For a full plate, serve alongside waffle fries and coleslaw. The crispy-creamy contrast holds up next to the panko crust. Or build a sandwich: toasted brioche bun, shredded lettuce, pickles, aioli. That's a weeknight plate worth repeating.
- For entertaining, pile them on a platter with sauce cups at the edges. They hold well after resting — the crust doesn't go soft the way deep-fried nuggets do. People can graze without timing it perfectly.
- Refrigerator: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 4–5 minutes to restore the crust. The microwave makes the breading soggy — skip it.
- Freezer: Freeze cooked nuggets in a single layer on a sheet pan, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Reheat from frozen in the air fryer at 400°F for 8–10 minutes. No thawing needed.
- Meal prep: Bread raw nuggets ahead, freeze them in a single layer, and cook from frozen. Add 3–5 minutes to the cook time. The crust holds up the same way.
