Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Toss shredded chicken with half the Kinder's Mild BBQ Sauce in a bowl until coated.
- Spread ¾ of the chips in an even layer on a large baking sheet.
- Layer evenly: BBQ chicken over chips, then half the shredded cheese, all the black beans and fire-roasted corn.
- Top with the remaining chips, then the rest of the cheese, and sliced jalapeños.
- Bake 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and starting to bubble and brown at the edges.
- Remove from oven. Drizzle with the remaining Kinder's Mild BBQ Sauce. Add any additional toppings you'd like — sour cream, guacamole, fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes
- Layer twice — Spread ¾ of your chips first, then the BBQ chicken, then half the cheese, then beans and corn. Top with the remaining chips, the rest of the cheese, and jalapeños. Every chip gets coverage. That's the whole technique.
- Don't pile it on — Even distribution over two layers beats one loaded pile. Too many toppings on a single layer means soggy chips before you've taken two bites.
- Rotisserie chicken is the right call — It shreds in minutes, it's already seasoned, and it's fully cooked. A fresh-cooked chicken breast adds 30 minutes you don't need here.
- Serve the second it comes out — Nachos go soft fast. Have every topping ready — sour cream, guacamole, pico, cilantro — before the oven timer goes off. Oven to table, no stops.
- Control the heat with the jalapeños — Kinder's Mild BBQ Sauce keeps things dialed back. If you want more heat, add extra jalapeño slices, use pickled jalapeños for brightness, or finish with a drizzle of hot sauce. The mild base gives you room to build.
- Set out sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh cilantro before the nachos hit the table. A hot sauce or two on the side lets everyone dial in their own heat level. Cold beer or a margarita on ice is the natural pairing.
- If you want to round it into a spread, a simple green salad or a cup of tortilla soup alongside keeps things from feeling one-note. These also hold well as the centerpiece of a game-day setup — double the recipe, use a full sheet pan, and have a second tray ready to go into the oven before the first one lands.
- Nachos are best eaten straight from the oven. Once they sit, the chips pull moisture from the toppings and go soft — that's not a fixable problem, it's just how nachos work.
- If you have leftovers, reheat on a sheet pan at 375°F for 5–8 minutes. It re-crisps the chips somewhat. Microwave reheating makes chips limp — skip it.
- The better move: store the BBQ chicken separately in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When you want nachos again, rebuild fresh on a sheet pan. Takes 10 minutes and tastes like it just came out of the oven.
